Picking It Back Up

My kids really love reading the blog books, but I have been such a slacker on getting on the computer and posting. I am going to try and pick it up again for the benefit of them.

It is the beginning of the year and we have definitely been blessed immensely already. We signed a contract to buy the house we were renting and made the first payment this month. I love this home that we live in, but more the land that the kids have to run around.

So, it is the kids responsibility to take care of our dog that we got about a year and three months ago. But every now and then, I will go outside and do it myself and take Nyx on a walk. Well, about a week ago I decided to just go down the dirt road next to our house with the little two, Tunoa and Leilani. Each of them had a garden shovel with them to dig in the muddy road along the way. So the short dirt road ended up taking a while with the stops for digging and they LOVED every moment of it!

Yesterday, after playing basketball, Tunoa didn't want to leave because there was a basketball inside that was left behind. He wanted to bring it home and just sat there crying in front of the chapel doors waiting for me to take him back in or come and get him to put him in the car. I did neither…What a mean mother I am! I did get out of the car and help him in his car seat when he realized I wasn't going back into the church. I guess it is time to get him his own ball to learn those skills.

The Last of the Baptisms: Tunoa

I am amazed at how beautiful this day turned out! Tunoa has not been excited to be baptized at all until he had his interview with the Bisho...
