This year for Leilani's birthday, she requested a few weeks before her birthday to eat at Wendy's, eat potstickers, and go to the Hansen's house to play games. I chuckled when she said the Hansen's because she just expected me to invite ourselves over to their house. I had to quickly teach her that we just don't invite ourselves over to people's homes.
When the day came, Cliff and I surprised her and pulled her out of school "illegally" (that is what the secretary told Cliff). We took her to lunch to eat Wendy's because she wanted a hamburger, french fries and a frosty. While we were eating, a guy overheard us talking about frosties and how much she liked them and he brought her a little free junior frosty for the year of 2019 whenever she wants. It put a big smile on her face.
Afterwards, we took her over to Walmart so she could choose her birthday presents. What did she choose? Not a surprise, it was a cat and unicorn that walk on a leash when you push the button. They also make sounds that are pretty annoying when it the sound is kept on repeat.
When we got home, she has some time to play Xbox by herself. She was in heaven all by herself without siblings to bug her and tell her what to do.
For dinner, we had potstickers and Asian cabbage salad. Blizzards were her choice of celebration instead of cake. I still made a cake because Tunoa, Cliff and I didn't want blizzards.
Her day had been complete with everything we did with her. She is so carefree and just wants to have fun all of the time. She hates to do chores, get out of bed for school, keeping her room clean, or any sort of thing that resembles any type of work ethic. She absolutely LOVES cats and unicorns, coloring, playing games, playing outside, and going to her friend, Gianna's house to play.
I ALWAYS try to get a picture of them blowing out their candles. I hope you had a wonderful birthday! We love you our stocky girl!
