Denver Trip

We took off for the weekend and then a little for the week to Denver to visit my sisters. Two of them live down there and the other one flew down from Washington. My mom is currently in Denver as well taking care of my youngest sister's little boy. My only single sister went made the decision to go through the temple that weekend, hence the reason why my sister from WA flew down. We hardly are ever able to get together with each other, but for this it happened. I haven't been to the temple for a while because of being hungry all of the time. But, I did make it...STARVATION almost happening! But on the way back home we decided to take the long road home and see some of the many places our family has lived in Colorado....a trip not recommended with three little kids. It would have taken 8-9 hours, but with all of the stops that were made it turned into 12. But, I do have pictures of Green Mtn. Dam where we used to live. I made sure we got one of the hill that we used to have to walk to take the bus to school. It is 1/3 of a mile, but never once did we ever complain about it. There were many memories from this place which is now empty. And how beautiful it was!!!!
The view of Green Mtn. Dam from the top. Oh...how beautiful it is!

Cliff and the kids.

The hill we used to sled down by our first house we lived in.

Right behind us used to be where our first house was that was flooded. This is the house that us girls all slept together in a full bed and Nezhone would do what the rest of us told her to do.

My mom with us.

The infamous hill that we walked. In this picture you can see the bottom of the hill and the top by the dam where we had to catch the bus.

You weren't kidding about that hill. What a fun time to visit all the old places you've lived!

This is a beautiful place. I never imagined your Colorado home as so remote. I guess I thought you lived in a town or city.

The Last of the Baptisms: Tunoa

I am amazed at how beautiful this day turned out! Tunoa has not been excited to be baptized at all until he had his interview with the Bisho...
