Cliff and I love to go camping, but with my experiences of being pregnant and camping the last 2 summers in a row, I have decided it isn't worth my losing sleep and being uncomfortable. So, since he underestimates himself in thinking he can't take both of them out to the mountains to really camp, this is their first camping experience for the year. What comes closest with the comforts of the home being right there. The weather has been lovely down here, just allergies
raging.
The best campsite possible!
This is how we started the night. Cliff BBQ'd hotdogs on the grill, but too hot to eat them outside. Don't want heat exhaustion!
Just playing around while Daddy is still puting the tent up.
They were so excited to be in there, they just couldn't wait to play around and sleep in it tonite.
Kalena acting like she is looking at the stars, but then she just flopped herself backwards to lie down. And Maika, well, he is just closing his eyes really tight acting like he is going to sleep.
Smores is, of course, the highlight of all camp trips right?! Kalena doesn't like them but she sure loves to eat it all seperately!! You can see why she doesn't like it together...it gets all over her face and in her hair.
