So suckers is what the kids like, especially dum dums. Every time we go to the bank they have me ask for suckers. They know where to go to get them. These and stickers. You name that can tell you where to get it. Well, you can't even put it past Tula'i, when he sees a sucker he knows what it is and will cry until he gets it. So yeah, there are times where I here him cry for a little bit, but it is LOUD, until I get something in his mouth that will take his mind off the sucker. But here are some pictures of him with a sucker in his mouth and one of Maika. Kalena had hers done way before I got to snap a photo of her.

FHE Halloween Tradition
Joe and Cliff with their awesome homeade stencils of large smiling faces.
Kalena wouldn't even look up for me to take a picture. She is my artist at work.
Maika smiling for Kristen so I could get a picture without him trying to concentrate so hard on painting.
Jenna painting her pumpkin very blue giving me a cute grin.
Every year the Monday before Halloween, I buy pumpkins last minute so that the big kids can carve them and the little kids paint them. This year and last year we have had other friends come and join us for the joyous occasion. We start with dinner of course, this year was my sisters recipe for Taco Soup, which is really yummy...Cliff didn't even really complain about it once he tried it (Mexican food would be the last thing on his list to eat). The kids had fun playing together and painting their pumpkins, even Tula'i painted some of one because he was mad he wasn't in on the action. So, I decided to let him have at it. He didn't just paint the pumpkin though...included was the booster chair, clothes, just above his lips, his arms and of course his hands. He had a good time though. Cliff always carves the easiest stenciled face, but this year he freehanded the drawing and it came out a Walmart smiling face..."Always the lowest price," or like a characters face on a Tim Burton film. Lela tried to do a more difficult one, but ended up finishing hers as a face as well, so I need to make mine a little more exciting and fun. Thanks for coming over Joe and Kristen. It is always nice to have you over for our annual pumpkin painting.

Silly Quirks
Tagged
Here are the rules:
1. Link the person who tagged you.
2. Mention rules on your blog.
3. Tell about 6 quirks of yours.
4. Tag 6 fellow bloggers to do the same.
5. Leave a comment to let them know.
Melissa Drake tagged me
1. Kitchen- My kitchen HAS to be clean at all times. If it is a mess, I get very cranky especially if I didn't make the mess. This means that there are absolutely no dished on the counter at night before we go to bed. I mop my kitchen at least once a week and make sure the table is cleaned off as well.
2. Dr. Pepper- I love to drink Dr. Pepper. But, it only gets worse when I am pregnant. I think this is why my kids love the drink so much. I will actually go out at midnight to get a drink if I am craving one...or sometimes Cliff will go for me.
3. Grocery Shopping- I will go grocery shopping once every paycheck of Cliff's and make it an all day affair. Not that I like it to be that way, but with three kids it always ends up taking that long. I will make my menu out for that time and then go shopping for all the ingredients needed and call it good.
4. Laundry- I learned this from my mother. I only do laundry once a week, Wednesday is when I start. Once I am done with it, I don't do anymore until the next week. So, if you don't get your clothes in the laundry room to be washed then you will pay me so you can do it before the next Wednesday comes.
5. Exercising- If I don't get up in the morning to exercise before the kids are awake, then you can just kiss it all good-bye for the rest of the day. I only like to exercise in the morning before I start my day, even if it means getting up at 4:45a.m.
6. Napping- Even though I may be very tired and need a nap, I rarely ever will take a nap because it takes me so long to just fall asleep. When I go to lay down, I am always thinking of the millions of other things that I could be doing...cleaning up, sewing, enlightening my mind by reading, etc. By the time I fall asleep, the kids are all up and I don't get a nap in anyway.
Now, I tag Tami, Cajsa, Traci, Robin, Kim, and Jamie.

Trip to Washington
This was a short, but fun trip for the whole family except for maybe Lela...she had homework to do all day Friday and part of Saturday. There was noise constantly throughout the Wallwork house because of nonstop playing from the kiddos. Nayah and Kalena were best buds for Thursday and Friday for sure...Saturday they started to be tired, cranky kids without enough sleep. We all know how that goes when kids are tired and cranky. Sunday was better because the little ones had all gotten sleep. We were able to see Charlie and Lani who just had a brand new baby, but drove both times to Cajsa's so we could see them. Cliff had a good day with Charlie on Friday playing golf and going to lunch. While Cliff was gone, I showed Cajsa a few things on her blog and then we headed out to east lunch because I was cravign Mexican food. It wasn't too good though. Afterwards we headed to Sonic and got 1/2 price drinks, but they weren't half off when the firl rang us up. Not realizing that the clock in my van, which we were driving, was still set to Utah time. It was only like 5 minutes before 2 p.m., but by the time they got the drinks to us it was 1:59 p.m. and so we kindly asked them to give us the discount due to us being boneheads. Then that night we took the kids to the homecoming parade for John's highschool that he works for in Pasco. He had to work the parade so we decided to go. The floats weren't all that great, but at least they threw candy, right?!
Saturday was a try and clean the house up from Friday night, play a few games of "Settlers" and get ready for dinner with everyone again. The time went by fast and it was very enjoyable to get away for a few days. Cajsa, don't worry we can always play more "Settlers" when we meet again, but you won't ever reclaim the title. Anyway, thanks Cajsa and John for letting us come crash...maybe one day we might head up that way to stay. Who knows what the future will bring. Thanks Charlie and Lani for driving to come and see us. It was great to see you guys and your cute little Leiema. She is beautiful!

My One and Only
Traci tagged me in her blog and so now I am fulfilling it and going to tag Cajsa, Nezhone, Bridget, and Tami.
What is his name?
Cliff Naoupu Elisara Fano
Who eats more?
Cliff, definitely, unless it is Mexican food.
Who said "I love you" first?
I did
Who is taller?
Cliff, by 10". Never thought I would have married someone that tall.
Who is smarter?
When it comes to computers, finances and organization skills...I must admit I suck.
Who is more sensitive?
Me.
Who does the laundry?
Me because when he tries I get mad cause he does it wrong instead of just being grateful that he is doing it to help me out. But, I don't like to have all my clothes ruined.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?
If you are looking at the bed, I do.
Who pays the bills?
Cliff and I am so glad because we would be into a lot more debt if I was.
Who cooks more?
I do 95% of the cooking, but Cliff is more than willing to cook and help out in the kitchen when he is not busy. He definitely has his share of doing BBQ though during the summer.
Who is more stubborn?
I probably am even though we are both stubborn.
Who is first to admit they are wrong?
He does.
Who has more siblings?
We have the same amount.
Who wears the pants in the relationship?
We both share in the responsibilities, but he says if I am happy then he is happy.
What do you like to do together?
Watch movies, play sports, travel and just hang out.
Who eats more sweets?
Me, I LOVE chocolate!
Guilty pleasures?
He loves to EAT and EAT...his boys take after him on that also.
How did you meet?
A never-ending blind date that neither one of us wanted to go on...It must have been good though.
Who asked whom out first?
Well, after the blind date, he did.
Who kissed who first?
He finally kissed me after 9 months of waiting and wanting so much to kiss him every time we went out, but I was to afraid that he didn't want it. Come to find out, he did.
Who proposed?
Of course, he did. I was on leave from basic training for Christmas Exodus and he came with me to Denver to spend it with my mom and sisters. He had asked me before what I wanted for Christmas and I told him a ring. Well, the night he wanted to propose, I kept screwing up his plans. I took him up to a look out point that is awesome and overlooks all of Denver. It was freezing cold and neither of us had a jacket. After being there for a couple of minutes shivering he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I thought the whole time he was proposing without a ring, but I still said yes. Suprise on me!!! He slipped the ring on my finger and I am sure I was glowing the rest of the night.
His best features and qualities?
One thing that I admire is that he is very quick to say sorry. So many times in our marriage, he has said it way before I even begin to think the word. Another great quality is his ability to be such a GREAT father. Everyone asks me how I got the boys to be such Daddy's boys...well, you have it. The truth is that he loves to play with his kids and make them laugh. He is always on the floor playing with the kids when he has a spare moment.
