Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Yeah, it was a great movie. Of course, not everything could be put into the movie. But, here is how we got to see it earlier than opening night...which is tonite. I purchased the tickets online for opening night. Well, my sister-in-law was over Sunday night and we decided to look to see when it was showing again. My confirmation information said "Tuesday, July 14,2009, 12:20a.m." So, here we are in the car on the way up to the theatres by 11:15 p.m. (reserved seating is great!!!) We get to the theatre and it is all locked up with no one else around. I get inside by a door that was left open to find an employee who works there to ask some questions...First off, "Is the movie showing tonite like it said?" I found an employee and asked and he gave me the answer that it wasn't until the next night. I was a little ticked, but I have learned to be patient in certain situations due to a lesson taught by Cliff (thanks!). The man took a look at the paper and went to his manager to question her about it. She began to explain that when it says the 14th and it is a midnight showing like that they mean that it is actually considered part of that day, instead of it being considered the 15th. Who would have known unless you go to opening night movies all the time. With that explanation, I kind of just stood there thinking great we just have to come back tomorrow then, but then she proceeded to say that we could either go in with the employees that were waiting to see it, but then we might not get good seats or just come back the next night to see it. Well, the man that I had asked about it in the first place said we could go and watch with him because he had to preview it anyway to make sure there were no glitches in the movie for tonites opening night. So, even though we didn't have popcorn and a drink with my mug (to keep me awake)...it panned out pretty good. We weren't stuck in a packed theatre with a lot of cheering and commenting during the movie. We also weren't the only ones that made the mistake. So, in all there were 35 of us that made the same mistake that were allowed to watch the movie the night before it came out!!! Thanks to the theatre in town for the pre-screening!....not to mention our husbands who stayed home with the kids so we could go...even though they were all sleeping.

The Last of the Baptisms: Tunoa

I am amazed at how beautiful this day turned out! Tunoa has not been excited to be baptized at all until he had his interview with the Bisho...
