One night for dinner I made chicken alfredo, along with slices of cucumbers, mandarin oranges and homemade french bread. Kalena will only eat cucumbers with Italian dressing poured over the top. So, she got the dressing and began to pour it. Not only did it get on her cucumbers, it also got on her oranges and into the alfredo. She WASN'T happy about it AT ALL! Cliff and I tried to tell her just to move her food away from each other, but she was too mad to listen and just began mixing all of her food together. Cliff told her just to wait and that the "Fairy" would come and take care of it. After listening to her complain and whine for a few more minutes, the "Fairy" did take care of it. She went over to her and flicked her on the mouth because she was making a mess on the table and then proceeded to not be so patient. The "Fairy" ticked off, went and got another plate moved all her food onto the clean plate. Wasting the oranges because they weren't any good now, the "Fairy" told her she better eat everything on her plate and that she wasn't going to get off of the table until it was gone.
After the "Fairy" finished, Cliff turned around and said, "See, I told you the fairy would take care of it." After this, it was the joke for the rest of the evening.
