And the SPORTS Begin

Kalena has been asking us to let her play soccer for over a year now. We finally signed her up to let her play. I LOVE sports and would love to see the kids play, but it is only if they want to do it. Cliff and I have chosen to let them decide for themselves and we will not force them (even though I would love to be one of the mother's cheering for them).

Yesterday was her first game without any practices. She did a ton of running and even had a break away, but to the wrong side of the field. I didn't know which end they were going for so I kept hollering for her to kick it in the goal. Luckily she didn't listen to me and just kicked the ball out so the other team had a corner kick. She will be a good if she wants to keep playing and learns the skills of the game.

Kalena taking her break during the game. She isn't used to all the running in the hot 93 degree weather.

Cliff is going to be an EXCELLENT support and just tell the kids what a wonderful job they did. Just what they need, instead of someone always correcting them on everything they did wrong.

The coach explained to a few of them on what she meant when she yelled "turn the ball." I don't think Kalena really got it, but she says she did. I loved watching her just run around and chase after the ball.

The Last of the Baptisms: Tunoa

I am amazed at how beautiful this day turned out! Tunoa has not been excited to be baptized at all until he had his interview with the Bisho...
