There really is no first aid going on, but if you have seen Jonah veggie tales, you know what I am talking about. Kalena was so happy to go back to school. Once again, there is no looking back on her part. I miss having her around during the day. The house seems a bit empty without her running around with the boys. But, I will have to admit it is quite a bit easier throughout the day with 4 instead of 5 and next week will be even crazier with Maika in school for half the day.
Anyway, I got one picture of her on my phone.
She loved her turkey sandwich for lunch, along with the chocolate milk and chocolate pudding. She told me, "I had chips too, but I just threw them in the garbage." I was about to scold her and tell her what a waste of food when I remembered she doesn't eat chips...ONLY cheetos and cheese puffs.
She was happy that she got to recesses to go and swing. Today, being the third day, she told me didn't want to play with anyone and just wanted to swing because they can "go so high." She is definitely not liking that she has to wake up an hour and a half before school starts the morning (7:30), but is being a good sport about it. I wouldn't have to wake her up so early if she didn't get so sidetracked. It always comes down to crunch time and yelling to get her out of the house.

MAILE!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, YOU ARE SUCH AN AWESOME MOM! I love these posts. We have been traveling ALL summer...Colorado, Wyoming, Southern Utah (almost made it to SLC), Oregon, West Virgina and North Carolina. We climbed a lot in the midst of visiting friends and family and sqeezing in a trip to Lake Powell. I was sad I couldn't get to SLC. One of these days, I'm just going to fly there. Another dear friend just moved to Layton so now I have another excuse to come see you and her! :) I love your kind words about your kiddos, they are ADORABLE...ALL OF THEM! So fun to see and so fun to finally get caught up with your blog. BIG HUGS! Love, Janelle Oh, yes...I wear dressed now...need to get ready for living in Florida. We move this October! Crazy huh?!
Maile I have one just like her. Last year I jokingly told the principal and office ladies (thank goodness it's a small town and their are all so nice) that I've given up on getting him to school on time. All of my other kids make it everyday, but Jake. I don't know how to help him. We live one block from the school so they always leave without him cause he's never ready and waking him up earlier never helps. He just finds more things to do before school. lol and he likes school. It's not like he doesn't want to go. He just can't focus on getting ready and getting there. :-)
