Is it really a Christmas VACATION?! part 1

My sister, Cajsa, and her family came again for Christmas. They got here on the 18th, a Saturday. Monday morning, my mom and youngest sister, Nezhone, flew in for the special occasion. And this is the rest of the story...

Monday...

Just chilled at home with the kids and took Lavea'i to his 2 year check up. Cajsa and John had to run to Grantsville to see his grandma and help her with a couple of things. The kids stayed home with mine and they just played the whole time. That night we had a quick, but fun family home evening. I put items around the house in a bag and each kids got to pick one out and they either had to come up with a primary song or a scripture story that had reference to that article. The primary songs we sang and the scripture stories were short.

Tuesday....

It was definitely a snow day!

In the park with Auntie Nezhone playing "Fox and Geese"

Cajsa got a picture of me shoveling some of it.

Tuesday night...

Settlers of Catan!!! It is the game that Mom has to play when she comes into town because my sisters won't play with her in Denver.

Wednesday...

Kids started to get sick. (At least it wasn't throwing up) My poor sister had to run her little 4 month old to the ER to discover that she had croupe. NOT FUN!

Thursday...

THIS WAS THE MAIN EVENT FOR ALL TO COME TO UTAH! My sister and her husband adopted a little boy and it was legalized on Nov. 22. So, they set a date to come and have him sealed to them in the Salt Lake Temple. What a beautiful and precious moment. I am so thankful to have the gospel in my life and know that we can be families forever. Here are a few pictures capturing the beauty of the day outside the temple.

The Last of the Baptisms: Tunoa

I am amazed at how beautiful this day turned out! Tunoa has not been excited to be baptized at all until he had his interview with the Bisho...
