Project NOT even listed!

Here is to my mother for always saying, "It would be nice if you had at least some greenery above the cabinets." I have wanted to decorate above my counters for quite some time, but haven't ever really been able to spend the money on it because something else always seems to come up. Another problem was not really knowing what to do. I decided to to out and just buy some decorations. I began working on the project. After getting most of the decorations up late at night, I stepped back to look at the halfway finished product and realized, "I REALLY don't like it." So, I sat down on the couch and just kept staring at the project and then it all clicked on what to do. The next morning, I headed back to the store with all the stuff I had purchased, except some clay seashells, and returned everything it all. I then took that money and headed to Walmart to get exactly what I knew I wanted. It didn't cost as much as expected because I ended up using previous decor that we have had and I just haven't known what to do with it. So, here's to you, Mom. It is more of a Samoan theme because we have collected a few things from our trips down there, but I think it turned out rather nice and more my style.
